2002 Possums Shiraz $27
Excellent color, opaque purple, almost black. The nose is huge, loaded with aromatic blueberry, blackberry and toasty vanilla, touches of liqueur plums also. There is a firm palate structure, a delightfully creamy and rich mouthfeel, yet with a slightly savoury end stopping the wine from being unbalanced. Wonderful McLaren Vale red!
Showy, ripe and decadent.
