TN: Forest Hill Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

G'day
I'm a long time fan of Forest Hill wines, and have a number stashed away. More recently, I have been buying their "Block" series wines, but the Estate wines are no slouch either, and this is what I cut my FH teeth on.
Rich purple in colour. Nose is expressive, with blackcurrant, cigar box, a little eucalypt, and starting to show signs of development. The palate is straightforward, with fruit and a little coffee over supporting acid and grippy tannins. It's a medium bodied wine, finishing well, but I suspect this is as good as it will get.
Cheers
Allan
