TN: Seppelts Drumborg Riesling 2017

Very pale yellow in colour with green tinges.
Intense but not sharp lemon lime, with lots of florals on the nose, and hints of slate and talcum powder. The palate follows the slate theme, with a hint of "sucked river pebbles" underneath the tangy lemon lime. High, but not searing acid runs the length of the palate.
In some ways this is a little restrained now (give it time to warm up in the glass, for a start!), but there's no shortage of power and intensity. Glorious now, but should develop over 10-15 years. It's just a matter of which style you prefer - young and racy or older and rich. I like both!
Cheers
