G'day
Robert makes a Pemberton Chardonnay as well, but this is the MR version.
Yellow in colour with tinges of gold. The nose is rich and expressive, with ripe yellow peaches, nectarine, grilled nuts, and a touch of gunsmoke. The palate is similarly full, with almost tangy fruit supported by acid and slight tannic grip. It finishes long and satisfying.
It's very good now, and I'm not sure about future development. Time to pull one of the 2011s out of the cellar.
Cheers
Allan

Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.

Nearly 4 years on, and this wine has developed only a little. Similar colour to before, and many of the same characteristics. The fruit has developed slightly and still has some tang to it. Peaches are diminishing, and citrus is emerging. Not overly oaked, and acid is keeping the wine fresh.
Still in a good place. No rush to drink up.
