As part of the
international shiraz alliance(30 July - 2 August) the Sunday 1st August is the cellar door day. Many, many different cellar door experiences to choose from.
Are there many forumites interested in making a day and evening out of it ? Take in some of the events and share a dinner perhaps ?
Initially I liked the sound of:
* Four Decades of Barossa Shiraz - $50
* Barefaced Barossa - FREE
* Shiraz and all that Terroir - FREE
and maybe
* Now and Then - $40
Then perhaps a dinner somewhere in the Barossa.
Any takers ?

Got the flyer - which is more like a small book - in the mail yesterday. Yikes, the main event is pricey for a mug punter! And I tohught I could maneuver a work trip to coincide. perhaps not

Manouvre away, do the day tour with us, have dinner etc etc.
Ignore the main event!

Yeah. The main event is a bit out of us ordinary mortals reach, which is why I like the Sunday, some freebies and a whole selection of different priced events.

Sadly, it looks like we are selling the SA based part of the business that gets me down that way all the time. I consider it a test of my maeuvering skills...
