The Laird 2012

Post by Hunter »

Vintage festial has kicked off here in the BRO..
A msg from a friend this morning insisted i come see him today at Torbreck c.d as there was a private lunch being held with imperials being open of the The laird 2012. (Released last week) The laird 2006. Runrig 2010. Runrig 2006. Les amis 2004.

The 2012 laird. Big fruit, huge alcohol which should settle, full spectrum of Barossa character, just layers and layers of every shade of coffee, chocolate, etc
The length just ridiculous..
The 2006 in somewhat of a dumb spot. Tight and not showing an awful lot. Huge potential tho

But the 2006 runrig.. by far the standout. Just amazing. Wich shows exception value compare to its elder.

Les amis, delicous as always.
There new cellar door is finally finished if you havnt checked it out. Defently worth the visit.
