Pewsey Vale Riesling 2010

G'day
Here's the TN I did from a PV vertical tasting early last year(and posted here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14940&p=131036&hilit=pewsey+vale+2010#p131036):
"Pewsey Vale Riesling 2010: Faint kero, lots of lemon and lemon blossom, a touch of honey and talc. The palate was richer / more intense than many of the previous wines, with good length. The wine has clearly emerged from the dumb phase."
Drinking this a year later, it's developed a little further. It's yellow gold in colour. The kero has gone, and the lemon / curd / blossom has taken over from it. The honey has not intensified, and remains a background feature, as does the talc. The palate does not reflect the high acidity that many younger rieslings show - it may be in balance with the level of developed fruit and secondary flavours inherent in the wine.
I'm enjoying this now, although I suspect there's room for further development.
Cheers
Allan
