2002 Kirrihill Companions Shiraz magnum, Langhorne Creek & Clare Valley (cork): 14.7% alc. Medium to dark red/garnet. Earthy with menthol, raspberries, sweet and sour cherries, becoming very leathery with breathing; the palate’s not much over medium-weight and is struggling to stay fresh, with breathing it falls to pieces. Drink up, preferably a few years ago if you have a time machine handy.
