TN: 2002 Lou Miranda Estate Golden Botrytis Semillon

2002 Lou Miranda Estate Golden Botrytis Semillon 375ml, Riverina (cork): 10% alc. Medium amber (considerably darker in the bottle than the screwcapped wines) with a light olive rim and cherry red flashes in the light reflections . Lifted, sweet nose with buttery apricots, quince and obvious VA, some toast, caramel and a hint of spearmint with breathing; the mid-palate is enormous, leading to a long finish of fig and salted caramel. Always an amazing way to finish a meal.
