2006 Heartland Director's Cut Shiraz, Langhorne Creek & Limestone Coast (cork): 14.5% alc. Medium to dark red/garnet. Full-on Langhorne Creek chock-mint and menthol on the nose with a touch of nail-polish lift (EA) and dusty/spicy French oak well in the background. The palate’s just over medium-weight with more wood influence on the finish ahead of the choc/strawberry fruit. It may hold longer, but I sense this is at its peak right now.

Cheers,
Ian
