2015 Coates The Reserve Chardonnay, Adelaide Hills (screwcap): 13.5% alc. Very pale straw/green. Opens with peach/stonefruit and a touch of freshly picked parsley, the sweet perfume of lemon blossoms with breathing. Like most of Duane’s wine the palate has a wonderful rich texture with lemony/mealy acidity right from entry through to the vanilla pod and crisp green apple on the finish.
