Just watching this on Netflix
It is killingly boring & pretentious
Am I missing something?

I think I did 12 minutes of it. 12 minutes of my life I can't get back Michel.

I enjoyed it, was good seeing the passion the winemakers have, and their willingness to open a good bottle. (well apart from DRC with the 2004 Exch
). The passing of the baton to the younger generation (Trimbach). Didn't see it as being too pretentious or anything, the people they showcased are all industry figures/legends so I'm not sure how else you can portray them.

I didn't think it was that bad...it wasn't that good either..
Most normal wine drinkers would consider us all pretentious...
I did like Somm and Sour Grapes considerably more though...

After the rave reviews on here I decided to watch it.
It was ok. Pretty good seeing the old cellars and old bottles. Some interesting stories.
Wine score - Merlot
