2008 Ross Estate ROSS Sauvignon Blanc Chardonnay, Barossa Valley (screwcap): 12.5% alc. Medium straw/gold. Grassy passionfruit and lemon with some pickle/turpine characters beginning to appear on the nose; the palate is more Semillon-like, grassy and lemony with some buttery toast and tobacco characters, finishing dry and crisp with some toast. My last bottle, and a good time to finish it off.
