2014 Three Dark Horses GT Grenache Touriga magnum, McLaren Vale (screwcap): 14% alc. 75% Grenache, 25% Touriga. Medium red. Earthy and sooty with the grenache in the lead at first, blueberries, raspberries, black pepper, sweet deli meats and a touch of milk chocolate; with breathing the wild touriga florals of raisin, liniment and lantana appear. The palate is only light to medium-weight, minty and rather short; an interesting wine but I would really like more weight and length. Best to drink right now, even in a magnum format.
