TN: 2008 Leabrook Estate Reserve Chardonnay

Post by n4sir »

2008 Leabrook Estate Reserve Chardonnay, Adelaide Hills (screwcap): 13.0% alc. Deep gold. Still in the same nice place as three and a bit years ago, lemony and buttery with touches of peach, dried herbs, wool carpet and vanilla ice cream; the palate’s lovely and round, a great balance of sweet fruit, spicy oak and tingly acidity that dances around the mouth, a lovely texture that leads to a crisp, bright finish. More length and it would be sublime, as it is, bloody good.
