Thanks for the notes on the new releases.
The 2012 Wolf Blass Grey Labels were exceptional VFM at the prices they were flogged off for. I especially liked the Shiraz Cab from Langhorne Creek. I normally steer clear of the big commercial wines but made an exception for the 12 Grey Labels. Even the McLaren Vale Shiraz was exceptional and both should age extremely well.
Cheers
Ian

Agree Ian at about $25 both the 2012 grey labels were excellent purchases...Got to say LC with Metala, Lake breeze Bernoota has never looked better.
Cheers

Craig, had some 2013 Metala White Label Shiraz-Cabernet. Lots of glossy oak, but very little fruit depth which I often find with Langhorne Creek grapes. Most of the flavour on the front palate. Tasted like a $12 wine to me - which it is. Glad you enjoy it!

Think there is a bit more than glossy oak and upfront fruit. In the last 5 years have finished metalas from the 80s and 90s...just fantastic. Can't think of better vfm wine on the market. Also cellars well. Each to their own I suppose. Cheers
