$26 pb
The palate combines leafy berry fruit flavours with hints of chocolate and liquorice complemented by the integrated French oak. The combination of classy oak, balanced acid - tannin structure and alcohol smoothness provides excellent flavour and persistence. Cellaring potential of at least 8-10 years." Winery notes
Great intensity of boysenberry and blackcurrant fruit on the nose, hints of violets and vanilla also, but its on the palate this wine really shines. This wine is all about style and class, its not a blockbuster, but a structured medium weight wine of great class and style. Mouthfilling with blackberry and blackcurrant fruit and very ripe fine grained tannins on the longish finish. Loads of class and style, this is a highly recommended wine especially for those not wanting an in your face fruit bomb style - the tasting panel loved this wine. - Gavin
