2001 Chateau Fayau, Cadillac (cork): 13.5% alc. Pale yellow/gold. Smells and tastes like a decent Sauternes with a good dose of sulphur reminiscent of Guiraud & d’Arche, full of quince, plastic flowers, marzipan, lemon blossom and a little white chocolate, the weight and finish not quite up to the top marques but still great value for the money.
Cheers,
Ian

"plastic flowers"? Apart from that, I can almost drink the wine from your tasting notes.
Wine, women and song. Ideally, you can experience all three at once.
