I have had 3 bottles of this vintage in the last 6 months or so. I am somewhat biased as I have been buying and drinking this wine since its earliest vintages in the 90s and in my experience the top vintages of Giaconda chardonnay are easily the best chardonnay in Australia and well ahead of the other contenders (including LEAS) I have ever tasted. The 2010 Giaconda like most vintages had a lot of overt sulphide character when young but this has now mostly integrated and it shows the expected complex so called funky style with plenty of power and persistence. I looked at the Cellartracker reviews and my recent experience would align with the 95 or 96 ratings. Again, my experience over the last year or so it is the best current drinking of recent Giaconda vintages (2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012 sampled).
