TN: 2015 DCB Pinot Noir

Post by Ozzie W »

This wine is produced by Chris Bendle, who's been an assistant winemaker at Hoddles Creek since 2010. The master, Franco D'Anna, has taught his apprentice well. Chris is now producing wines under his own label - DCB. This is his third vintage.

Sweet and pure cherry, pomegranate and cranberry fruit. It doesn't have a lot of layers but it's got some class and finesse about it. Very easy to drink. Fantastic value for money at only $20.

If you love Hoddles Creek or Wickhams Rd Pinot, then you'll love this too. Franco's style has obviously rubbed off on Chris.
