Unfortunately, this is not the best review but I do thoroughly recommend Rhik's column reviewing useless kitchen gadgets... properly funny:
http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle ... k-samadderI expect the below the line commentary to be lively with people emphasizing how many bottles of Vin de Tesco you can pour down the sink before you justify the price tag...

Haha, I would consider myself left-leaning and technically middle class (going by the definition). I figure at least a few other wine geeks are too, from the occasional non-wine-related discussions over the years.
Does that mean we are supposed to be drinking Vin de Dan Murphy's? Should it be an upcoming Grape Mates tasting theme?

I'm a fan of the system and just got another 15 capsules.... Its not for cheap wine IMO, but rather, rare bottles so you can savour it over a period of time

Mike, I would have though with your frequent posting of prodigious lists of great bottles that you taste, that one would not last more than an hour.
Even if I had one of these there is no way I could resist temptation and not drink a great bottle with or with out friends in one go.
Cheers

Haha it was more a reference to the newspaper... the Guardian is known for reviewing anything "posh" excessively even though its readers are probably exactly the sort of wealth demographic who consume such products (they just like to think that they aren't)...
Apologies if I have offended any left leaning middle class people!

As I get older, two or three glasses are enough!

As a left-leaning middle class person I am offended by everything everyone says or does all the time (according right-leaning upper and lower class people anyway)
Cheers
