A rich nose of licorice, aniseed and tar with a complex palate of dark chocolate, leather and hints of menthol with firm tannins and a gloriously long finish.

Markg,
How would you rate the Jasper 2002 against the 2001. I had a small taste of the 2001 but missed out on getting a bottle or two.

I havn't got any notes but didn't find the 2001 as good.
