Ferngrove Cossack Riesling 2014

I've been a fan of this wine for a decade now, but I don't see it every year. The last time I saw it was the 2011, which was a spectacular year in WA (unlike most of the rest of Australia). It was really good then, and a couple of bottles are resting peacefully in the cellar.
The 2014 version is a good one also. 12.5% alcohol, and a very pale colour. A delightful mix of lemon, lime, orange peel, and orange flowers on the nose. The citric mix goes through the palate, alongside supporting but not sharp acidity and a clean finish. This accompanied some curry takeaway brought around by friends and worked well without clashing. This will be a great wine in 10 years.
Cheers
