Thought I would try one given the hype around the Amon Ra.

Deep purple, and initially quite reserved on the nose. After three hours air, revealed spice, vanilla and coffee notes. The palate was medium to full bodied, with chocolate, spice and berry fruit. Extremely fine tannins and decent length, this went a treat with herb encrusted roast lamb. This wine left a resounding savoury note.

Far more traditional Barossa style than say the Kalleske, but both, while different were enjoyable.
