Bordeaux En Primeur Langtons

Sorry to use the forum to air a greviance concerning the much disliked Langtons but I was supposed to receive my wines from Bordeaux in July 14 has anyone else paid and are still waiting?

Have you talked to them about the issue? My feelings towards them are mixed, but at least a real person is usually easily contactable.

I have had a conversation with them every month since August and guess what the problem is in the warehouse. I assume no forumite has bought Bordeaux wines from langtons using en primeur?

That's an unacceptable response from Langtons.
I would be politely pointing out you have met your end of the contract with them and they have not, and you have made a number of attempts to sort it - if they do not deliver what they have agreed with you, then you have consumer rights and action you can take against them.

Just to check ... what vintage are we talking about? I have used them a few times without issue.....and have a bot mreo coming from them.....

I have been chasing them on my 2011 Sauternes, probably the only wines worth investing from this vintage. I have called them and been told they got held up coming out of France. Your note reminds me to follow up again.

2011 vintage Chateau Meyney arrived yesterday- my first purchase on a budget.
Apparently badly affected by hail damage
