2012 Marius release...?

Hey - I see Gavin's post that he has already offered the 2012 Marius wines and they are already sold...
Have people on the direct mailing list already received the email for this?? Only, I was on the list for last year but haven't seen anything about the 2012's yet...

No. I understand from posts on other boards that the email to mailing list members will go out Friday. Waiting with bated breath.

Friday. Roger will have a busy afternoon methinks. I had an 11 Simpatico yesterday, whilst considering the final purchase of the 12s. My golly, what a lovely wine.

Not that I am aware, just the 2012 Simpatico and the 2012 Symphony ... to the best of my knowledge!

True believers have loaded up on 2011s!
Around 2020 I'll be pulling out Simpaticos from the devil's year that make women swoon and men weep. At least, that's my occasional dream. But 2012 should be ripping, and don't forget 2013 is tracking well.
And I look forward as well to the return of the blends.

The list arrived just before the stroke of midnight. Limit of 1 case per member for both the Simpactico and Sympthony. In the past I have buggered around and not got my order in promptly. The same mistake is not being made this year.
A busy Friday and full inbox for Roger today!!

Breakfast consumed, scanned and returned! Last vintage before my hands have been involved in picking the grapes.. The reviews for next year better be as good

Rednick did mine last year (much appreciated as well), but I'm all grown up and managed to do it myself this time around. 6 of each hopefully coming my way. Wasn't sure the work fax machine was playing ball so I emailed it just to make sure!

My work fax was not sending after 3 attempts. The line was busy! (I blame Ian). So had to email. Roger just confirmed that it has been received and I have my allocation!!!! Happy days.

i sent my form this morning and still haven't receive any reply yet, how did you get yours so quick??

I managed to get 1 bottle of Symphony and Simpatico through work, that's all that was left! There is VERY high demand for this wine!

I guess it's first in first served. Mine had been sitting in Roger's inbox from about 7:30 AM and I got my thank you email about 5pm. Roger did say it would take him quite sometime to get to the orders.

As a matter of interest. I found a blog from one of the 2012 Marius vintage grape pickers. Some great photos.

Missed the email last year in the same fashion... Best thing to do is put your hand up and help Roger pick grapes on one day come next vintage... You'll get a couple of bottles and get to taste some old back Vintages! A great day if I must say so

Roger - you may need think up an innovative allocation system for the sale of your wines in future. I've got it................ Perhaps a multi coloured crayon marked order form!!!
At least you have a pleasant problem in allocating your wine. This is surely a good thing.

Just what we need. Another thread discussing and interpreting the meaning of different coloured crayon lines. Gavin will have to rename this place The Auswine and Contemporary Art forum.

Just picked up the last 2 x Symphony and Simpatico from a WA retailer..Phew!
Kind of ironic to have to look as far afield as WA and then to have it sent back to SA, about 40k's from the actual winery.. Is there any retailers in SA selling Marius?
