Hi Guys
I have a couple each of these in my cellar at the moment. Anyone tried these lately?
Just wondering if they are probably around their peak and perfect for drinking. Cheers

Had the bin 28 on the weekend. Nice but on the downward slope. 98 Salt rams mamre brook was shiraz was way better. Superb.

Agreed the 28 has been downward for quite some time now. 128 is still hanging in there but is also heading down.

Cracked a 1998 Bin 28 last night on your recommendations. Cork crumbled, which made me a little nervous.
Was still very drinkable though. Not a lot of fruit, but the finish was long. Some good spice and pepper on the palate. Can't see it getting any better. After an hour or so in the decanter, it became much smoother, but also lost its length.

Recent tastings the 98 is better than the 96, but agree probably good time to drink. Personally I like more fruit than tertiary characters in the balance

Not quite on point but the 98 Bin 389 is drinking beautifully at present.
