Hi gentleman,

Just wanted some wisdom and advice:

In August i want to take some Penfolds Grange to the 2014' wine clinic.
I live some 20km (30min drive maximum) from where they will have it.

I currently obviously have the Grange's in a cellar fridge at 13 degree's and am wondering how to transport them from the fridge on the day to the clinic for testing/re-corking ?

Is it as simple as just placing them direct from cellar fridge into Stylofoam box's ??
Or should i then get a large esky put some ice in it (very little) just to keep it cool and place the stylofoam box in the esky until i get there and then to transport home again ??

Please help

August should still be a cool month- You want to avoid quick temperature change so putting them in foam box should be adequate. I would be placing the box on back seat with seat belt just in case. Avoid as much vibration as possible as the old men get grumpy when awoken suddenly.
