'01 Shiralee Basket Press Shiraz (Barossa) - dark black purple. As this opened up, it got a bit candied. Power aromas and flavors of caramel, blueberry, almond, raspberry and dark chocolate. Fairly long (30 sec), complex and a bit oversweet finish. Improved on days 2 and 3, this bodes well for the future. Rated as Highly Recommended with *** for value at the U.S. price of $24.
