A perfect wine experience for me involves finding those little hidden gems that really have a sense of place and amazing terroir. When I travel I always try and find those off the beaten track wineries that offer an amazing personal experience and also have amazing wines.

Wendouree wines is one that I have been onto for a while that produces amazing wines and really gives a sense of place. Using this forum I have recently stumbled onto Greenock Creek wines and just placed my first order...cant wait to try them.
Another of my favourites is Bellwether wines in Coonawarra, Sue Bell has some amazing wines and is a very small set up with a very hands on approach to wine making...definitely worth a look.
Another is Paul Osicka wines in Heathcote, once again a small producer offering a very personal experience and having some outstanding wines. Also check out Red Edge wines from Heathcote, very nice.
So can anyone else offer up any of there hidden gems...I know many people out there wont to give away there little hidden secrets but I thought it was worth a try

Some of the ones I like for the whole experience, not just the quality of the wine:

Ernest Hill in the Hunter Valley - decent Chard, Sem and Shiraz, wonderful people
Four Winds in the Canberra District - great Riesling and Sangiovese, again wonderful people and a great cellar door
