Auswine Tasting Panel - my thanks

Post by Gavin Trott »

We met again last night, forum regular Markg (Mark Wickman), another regular N4sir (Ian), Roger Pike owner maker of Marius Wines, forum irregular 707 (Steve Norman), permanent forum lurker Gary Dayman and Chris Dayman and myself.

We had

Some absolutley sensational wines in the tasting, and a great barbeque afterwards (well, we had to finish the wines off after all), plus other wines brought by Roger (Reynell Merlot 1994) and Ian (Kambinye), and Gary (1994 Stonewell).

Thanks all, great night, great wines and great company.

I'm deciphering our notes now.
regards

Gavin,

Sounds like these tasting secessions are just an excuse for an MPU to me.

Re the 94 Stonewell, how is it coming along and how close is it to its drinking window?
Cheers

Gavin,

Thanks for the opportunity to taste some great wines, including an unknown that I suspect will not remain so for very long!

I forgot to spit until this morning!
