Can anyone tell me whether it would be Ok to store wine upright as long as it is Stelvin? I am not planning to play shuffle board with my wine so assume movement will be minimal, but seeing as there is no cork to dry out, I thought it might be OK.

I'm pretty sure it's fine to keep screwcapped wines upright. With no cork to dry out, what can go wrong?

While technically can be stood up with no worries, Lying on the side will show up any leakers early

My only problem encountered was when a case standing upright had something too heavy on top and damaged the stelvins slightly. All leaked and all died very quickly. When they leak, they are not half hearted about it.
Storing them upright should be fine, but if they are still in a carton be wary about putting anything on top.
