Has anyone seen the web site that is purely a sales link masquerading as a real regional/info site?
It looks real until you link to wines and they are all available for sale at Nicks.
The site, as far as I could see, does nothing to disclose that is a retailer's production.
Seems a bit sleazy to me.

I think you might find that this wine is a joint venture that Nick himself is involved in.

You have an information site that tells provides a very good overview of a region, information about wines, vintage overviews, climate and geology.
Someone's got to pay for it.
The site also gives Cellar Door information for some of the wineries as well.
The site was obviously setup as part of the launch material for the Tatiarra brand. The Tatiarra people could have limited it to just talking about their own wines, but instead provided an excellent regional overview from my reading. This include information on other wineries, including those who would compete with Tatiarra for the Heathcote Shiraz dollar.
It's far more detail about Heathcote Shiraz than you get from most other sites around the place.
Nicks, and Nick, gets a bit of a hammering on this board. Having spoken to the guy I find hime passionate about wine, far more than just from a retailer's view.
There's no masquerading here that I can see stan.
