Has anyone tasted the 2002 Water Wheel Shiraz. The Water Wheel Shiraz has been my favourite under $20.00 wine, and was wondering what the 2002 wine was like.

Dear Guest,

I do believe that Nick's scale goes all the way up to 100.

Hi Steve,
I think you find that they go above 100 points. Remember they rated the 95 Orlando Centenary Hill Shiraz 100 points and then said that the '96 vintage is better. So maybe the '96 was 105 points

your right nother guest. After reading the statement they made and the 100 points they gave, they downgraded their rating about 5 weeks later to 99 points. As they say 'nick's nose knows' the difference between 99 and 100.

Can't wait to see how they rate the 98. 'm betting 109.5/100

Hello,

the Nick's site ratingd are transparently sales driven. That's all they are.

Back to the question .....

Had the 01 and 02 side by side. The younger wine is clearly better IMO - spicier and longer. A bargain at about $15.
