This nineteenth century building was used to make an early wine by one of Australia’s famous pioneers, what is it used for now?

I believe the building was only used to produce one vintage, and it wasn't the first.

Supermarket

A machinery shed on a farm somewhere near Pokolbin.

Not a supermarket and not in NSW.
The building is quite famous and is still used in a wine related capacity.

Getting closer, you’ve got the region, and I love the fact google isn’t providing much help
Remember we’re talking about a pioneer in the nineteenth century, this narrows it down significantly.

Another clue, this building wasn’t constructed for anything wine related. It was however used to produce a second vintage for the pioneer.

OK, here's another clue, in fact a 'double' clue, there are two strong connections to the South Australian Caledonian Society.

Katnook Estate’s winemaking history stretches back to 1896, when Coonawarra’s second vintage was made in the Katnook woolshed by Scottish immigrant John Riddoch. This same woolshed today houses Katnook’s oak barrels.
The two clues from the Caledonian Society I believe is a reference to John and his brother George?

Correct, it is indeed now the Katnook Barrel Room.
Katnook also produce the 'Caledonian', hence the double reference.

Where's your sense of history! This is where Coonawarra started, the very essence of what is now one of Australia’s premier wine regions. Where, in 1891, Riddoch planted the first vines and where, in 1896, he made his second vintage. This woolshed was where Katnook commenced. Ah, the youth of today

Haven't you tried a bottle of Macarthur Red from Parramatta ?? Released around 1791.
