This one seems to have barely budged since release. Big, acid-lined, densely structured, with a gobful of oak, this one's bound to sit comfortably on the sidelines for quite a few years yet. I bought stacks of these on release (and I do mean stacks) and have since either auctioned or gifted a number since, to reality check the stash back to normality. With about 6-7 of them left, I'm quite keen to see how they track over the next several years. This is an impressive wine, even moreso when one considers the price on release.

Thanks Wayno. I bought a few of these and have 3-4 left and will hang on from your note. I was kinda planning to anyway as the last one a year or so ago was as you say, pretty unbudged, but an extra data point is always useful!
Cheers
Dave

My thoughts too Wayno. I had one on the 29th January this year. No real change from 18 months before that. still have about 7or 8 of these. Will be trying again in about 4 years or so.

Had one of these a month or so ago, and yes, ditto.
I think I have 3 remaining and will hold for as long as temptation and alternative alcohol availability allows.

100 % agreed. Got two cases of it at $ 16.99 from Vintage cellars some years ago. Just tried one last year and it still is a baby. This is the one for the long haul.

sumptuous wine, rich, big hit of blackberry and cigar box.
long, dry finish. yes, will go a lot longer.
that's the last of my six, but it still seems to be around due to some bizarre quirk of fate.

Thanks for the tips. Have a few of these myself and marked it initially as suitable around 2017/8. I won't bother tasting one for a while.
