Do not have to many in the cellar however, is it true to assume twice the volume twice the cellaring potential.

The particular magnums in question are:

Lake's Folly 91 Cabernet.

Knappstein 98 Enterprise shiraz.

Brokenwood 02 Semillon.

Any constructive feedback greatly appreciated.

Guest, I have the Enterprise Shiraz in 750ml format, I have it listed for peak drinking 2005-2007.

30/30 a good rule of thumb.

If a 750ml format takes 10 years to climb to it's maturation, a magnum will take 13. Incidentally, a pint or 375ml will in this case, climb to maturation in the quicker 7 year time frame.

Can't recall where or who pointed this out. It has already been disputed on the hallowed pages of Auswine!
