I will be going through the Coonawarra in a bit over a week. Anyone got any "must visit" suggestions for cellar door tastings there?

Wynns if only for the history.
I also suggest you don't bypass Padthaway as a region on the way through (or past).

Hollick for both wines and lunch is well worth a stop. My other personal favourites are Leconfield, Redman, DiGiorgio, Katnook and Parker Coonanwarra.
I just had the HIghbank wines at the Coonawarra Roadshow too and these were excellent although they are appointment only and hard to get hold of sometimes.
Cheers
Dave

Zema, Wynns, Katnook, Redman, Hollick, Balnaves, Koonara in the main drag of Penola, Leconfield
If you are visiting Wynns....turn left into John Riddoch Drive and pull the car up about 100m in behind the Di Giorgio vineyard on the left hand side....you'll find the famous "cutting" here in between one of the vine rows...it's where all those famous photos of the Coonawarra "Terra Rossa" soils were taken....you can go for a walk down the cutting...it's pretty cool.
Coming out of Wynns turn left and drive up to the old Coonawarra rail station for a photo opportunity...only about 500m up the road.
Fodder just near Wynns has great coffee & Pizza....DiVine in Penola is good also and the food at Hollick & Pipers of Penola is excellent

When we were there 2 years ago my wife and I were very impressed with a place called S Kidman wines.
Tiny little cellar door right at the top of the coonawarra.
They had some of the best VFM wines we tasted.
Zema and Balnaves were also good
