Wine Storage Companies

I have had wine stored for a couple of years a Millers Burleigh Gold Coast. It has grown to about 1000 bottles. Last week I received a nice letter saying that in pursuant to clause 20 of the agreement we are providing 7 days notice of termination. In fairness they are actually not closing until the 15th of next month. This has left me most distressed. Has anyone had similar expriences? Have Millers done this elswhere? What do others think about Millers and their clause 20? Can anyone recommend someone on the Gold Coast? Preferably on the southern end.

Dear Ian,

We've been servicing clients in Brisbane for 4 years now and extend our service to those living on the Gold Coasts.

We're planning to open a quality facility there very soon.

I'd be happy to discuss offering you free storage here in Brisbane for the next couple of months to allow you to have some peace of mind until then.

Let me know your thoughts via email - cellar@wineaway.com.au

Ian,

I store my wine with Wineaway and have no hesitation recommending that you seriously consider taking up their offer. I have had wine with them for more than 3 years, never had a problem and get fantastic service and helpful advice whenever I ask.

Maybe if you can organise the other people similarly affected you can convince Wineaway to open a GC location - might be worth a try.

Hope all goes well.
John

ps. I have no commercial interest with Wineaway other than I store my wine there - at non-discounted rates as well.
