TN: Campbells Rutherglen Bulk Muscat

The man on the phone told me that it was the same muscat that Robert Parker gave 95 points to in the latest Wine Advocate. Somehow I don't think it is exactly the same stuff as the bulk muscat does not seem to have the depth and complexity one would expect from it (perhaps after 6 months in my barrel it will ??). Anyway, I bought 5 x 2 litre goons and tipped them into an empty 9 litre port keg (its getting crowded on my psuedo bar) and has been sitting there for approx. 2 weeks at the time of this tasting.
A clear, sharp amber color. On the nose sweet pecan and roasted peanut. Nice and warm, silky smooth and finishes with lovely butterscotch, honey and orange peel flavours. This is very nice drinking now and will certainly improve and gain complexity with time in the barrel.
