Anyone wishing to come along, please register your interest here.
Cheers,
Ian

Jazz and I may well come along, however Friday nights are always difficult for us (Jewish Sabbath). Justin may join us as well - I will report back when I hear.
Has someone invited Andrew Jefford? I can if you like.

If I can find my one remaining bottle I will bring it. I do know where my Magnums of Wynns Centenary are and could bring one as a substitute, or as well.
Looking forward to meeting everyone and enjoying some good food, excellent wine and great company.
Mike.

Include David and Pam too. However does it have to be Friday if PaulG finds it difficult? Maybe Thursday?

Unfortunately I think both Steve & Mike already have other things planned/booked every other night. Thursday also happens to be the night of the Coonawarra roadshow.

OK. It would be good if we could accomodate PaulG if we can in menu and timing in future offlines. Looks like a great night.

Hey guys,
Firstly, thank you so much for everyone giving so much consideration to me - I am honestly touched
Obviously, I'd much prefer it if we could do this Thursday or Saturday, however I don't want to put the majority out on my behalf.
Thank you once again though everybody!

He's having a Senior moment. Huh, he's only a junior Senior. I will forgive him this once.
Looks like Thursday will be the night of choice.
Mike.

Are we shooting for any particular theme, or just 'whatever you have that's nice'?

I think Mike's initial offer of either an '86 John Riddoch or '91 Wynn's Centenary has set a (pretty high) standard.
If we're looking for a theme perhaps cabernet/blends could be it, otherwise just bring something very, very good.
Updated participants:
Muscat Mike
707
n4sir
PaulG & Jazz
Scanlon +2
Wayno +1-2
David & Pam
ck
Mark Jappe +1 (?)

Bad news from Andrew, he can't make the event.

i could possibly bring another riddoch year as a counterpoint. something from the mid 90's

We were at Chapel Hill today and picked up a beautiful Bushvine Grenache. I appreciate this isn't up to the standard of a John Riddoch, but to be honest, nothing we can afford would be.
We'll also bring something else... maybe a Samuel's Gorge Tempranillo or something else out of our wine fridge.

I was also contemplating mid 90s Riddoch! Possibly 96 but then a lot could change between now and then.
