Went to Pinot NZ last week. Fabulous tastings and discussion. NZ is coming along really well and they are passionate and generous. Worth going in the future is you're a lover of Pinot. Incredible foods and hospitality.

There were many passionate speakers and it was remarkable to hear wine tasters from all over the world speak of how after many years of drinking they tend to enjoy fine pinots and rieslings as their choice of wine at home. But they did caution that it has taken many years to find the styles they like most and to enjoy subtle characters they used to ignore or percieve as unimportant.

And Wellington is a great place to eat and drink.

Sounds like a great event. Any idea if they are doing a similar thing in Sydney any time soon ?

I hear they are doing another on the Mornington Penninsula next year. The last one was apparently a great success.
