I had planned on enjoying this during the Toronto Rolling Stones concert a while back, which was also the same day that I was scheduled to move back into my house after 4½ months of renovations. But the renos took longer than expected (so what else is new?) and I decided to hold onto the bottle until we were well and truly home.

As I had thought originally, this was a clear case of infanticide  . I could easily drink the rest of my stock of this wine, but will try to resist the temptation. Yes, this is a lighter Dead Arm, but needs more time to settle down and flesh out. Wonderful nose – lots of chocolate – that became deeper and more complex over the evening, and dark berries on the palate. But I'm sure that it will get better and more complex with age. I’ll try again at five years of age.

Hello

Yes, one of my favourite 2000's, and one of the 2000's I un reservedly recommended.

BTW the 2001 is much much better even!
