Currently in Paris, and was wondering if there are any specific wine bars or bottleshops that people can recommend (I'm staying in the Marais area if that helps).
Cheers!

My favourite is Willi's Wine Bar. It is on Rue de Petit Champs from memory, although it also has a website which you can google for better directions.
It has a great range of both French and new world wines and sells a famous range of posters. The food is pretty good also.

If you are interested in natural wines then Racines would be a very worthwhile visit (good food as well - the tomato salad was outstanding). Would need to book though.

Salad in Paris, huh? Must have come a long way in these new fangled times. I can remember the days when one asked for a salad only, the steak would be removed from the greenery and the blood covered salad returned to you as a vegetarian option

Many of the wine bars are closed on Sunday, much to my chagrin. The recommendations above are spot on.

Thanks everyone. Went to Lavinia this afternoon and it was amazing for its huge range of wines. The staff are also very professional and helpful. They had basically every french wine I'd ever heard or read about and plenty of others. For all the 500 Euro wines there were also plenty of wines around the 10 Euro mark, some of which I tasted and found very enjoyable.
Very nice aussie selection as well, with not a critter label in sight (a change from pretty much every other wine store I've walked into in Europe).
