Quiz - early

Given some brains don't function too well on Friday's, this weeks quiz is provided a bit earlier.

Who/what, etc .....

I’m very exclusive, many would say extremely exclusive.
I’m an incentive or prize.
Some describe me as decadent and indulgent (not so, just sheer pleasure and enjoyment).
I’m predominantly, almost exclusively, the product of confined material.
I’m very restricted in numbers.
Those who use me come from near and far.
I am produced by dedicated, driven, uncompromising individuals.
I have strict rules of ‘use’.
What I offer is rarely, if ever, identical, varying on what mother nature delivers.
My consumers have minimal choice of what I provide.
I am relatively inexpensive, in fact most consider me ‘a bargain’.

Hmmm, yes. Biodynamic botrytis-affected sweet wine? Any of the Rutherglen wines made like that?

:) I was just thinking this myself!
Perhaps John is the one snapping up all the 05 DRCs on the Langton's exchange, and picking up all these back vintages of super icons eg Petrus, Lafite, Cheval Blanc, etc...

For me, I'm with Carl...
? some sort of sticky? A Rutherglen Rare Muscat?

Cheers,

Monghead.

More clues obviously required

I am a 'combination' of the best I can, and have, produced.
My prize/incentive system is unique.
I'm Australian.

Well done Davo.

I am indeed The Rockford Stonewall Table

This is without doubt one of the best lunches you will ever experience. I've done the lunch a couple of times - most recently a few weeks ago (also had the privilege of attending a vintage diner in the barrel ‘shed’ a few years back which was even better!), the food is simply outstanding and the wine as you would expect, brilliant, and varied. If anyone has any 1996 Black Shiraz, invite me over when you crack your next one, it’s sublime, we had this at the lunch. Limited to Stonewall members and their guests, and a maximum of 16 people at the table. Everyone should do one of these lunches in their lifetime, beg, borrow, steal, just get to one!

We had the 1994 Black and 1991 BP when there in February. Both stunning although a bit of bottle variation with the BP.

Shared the table with a friendly local winemaker who shall remain nameless and Kylie Kwong among the standard issue plebs (myself included)

The food was fresh, seasonal, and prepared/cooked to perfection. An epic occasion and one I shall repeat whenever the opportunity arises.
