Wasn't taking notes, but it was lovely, and I felt in a good spot right now. Quite rich, full and toasty on the nose, with well integrated acid keeping it clean through the palate. Not racy or zingy as is to be expected from the vintage and extra age, just comfortable and confident in it's own skin. I'd say drink now up to 3 years max for my tastes.
P.S Yes did wonder if I had the spelling wrong, ran out the door before googling... now corrected.

Thanks... haven't had this vintage for a while. Nice to see it's still travelling well

Post script: so as promised I retrieved the last of the Arbois and took it around the corner to see a friend of mine who runs Lilly Till Devine. Turns out she and her partner love the Juru wines and promptly brought out some aged Comte cheese.
The impact of the cheese proteins on the wine was amazing and the Arbois went to another level. What an superb combination. I finally left around 12.30 as other wines came and went only to discover I'd left my phone and hence my wallet on the restaurant charger. Getting home was another story as George and family had long since left the restaurant.
PS Red Smurf we are set up for a tasting if you wish.

Great line up and sad to have missed it. Great to see some Vin Jaune in there.

What team after drinking Vin Jaune bought a trophy hope after 72 years?
