And I notice that JO has reviewed the 2008 in his latest Annual as well.

Constellation sold the winery and vineyard where the Classic Clare sparkling shiraz sourced it's fruit from in 2009. So possibly a 2009 version to be released but no 2010 onwards.

Well let's hope the 2006 isn't the last of the line then.

2009 Peter Lehmann Shiraz Black Queen Barossa Valley - Dark red in colour, nose exhibits rich dark fruit. Nice fine bead. Very fresh and sweet on the front palate but finishes savoury with mature plum and black fruit. Lots going on here, quite a full, deep, complex sparkling shiraz which has a medium length finish of soft tannins. Very approachable now and come to think of very enjoyable. A wine that brings a smile to your face on a hot day!

Always did like the Sparkling Queen. It used to be only available at cellar door. Here, across the bigger pond, I have tried the '97 and '98, liked them both and cellared a couple, but have not seen any vintages since.
I have recently heard that a Bleasdale sparkling Shiraz is available here but have no experience with it. Can anyone tell me about their style, fruity versus savoury?
Mahmoud.

I also found it on the sweeter side of the scale.
