got a case for $8 a bottle.
My go to weekly white for sure.
nearly all gone. I'll be heading back up next month to get some more.
Dang it, have to do another day trip to Clare V....
Hey scotty,
I grabbed one of these at a recent unreserved auction for $2 a bottle
Bloody wish I could have grabbed some more to see how it fares over the next few years, because right now it is a fresh as a daisy but in no way too young tasting (if that makes any sense!)
What a great wine, has some serious backbone to it
I bought it out of sheer interest in unusual blends from winemakers who are relatively unknown
Mate for $2 a bottle u couldn't really go wrong.
Mine are all gone sadly. But that's what quaffers are for.
Some recent quaffing six packs from my cellar;
2014 Tatachilla Partners Cabernet Shiraz. Definitely quaffer material. Not fantastic but easy drinking.
2012 Lost Buoy Cliff Block Grenache. I reckon this wine punched waaay above its weight. A real VFM drop.

Tsharke's varietal range purchased from the winery. Awesome QPR and interesting and different wines (e.g. graciano, temp, montepulciano, etc.).

Howard Park Riesling @ about $12 from clearances and auctions etc
Red - MP Shiraz, Metala White Label - Both $10 a bottle, Turkey Flat Butchers Block Red @ about $15
For bubbles - Freixenet Cordon Negro Cava @ about $9 a bottle, If I want to "quaff" Champagne i'll have some NV Taittinger. I bought about 42 bottles of this @ $25, down to my last 7 bottles, bought more @ $35

Funny, have just knocked off a dozen 2015 Faith, 6 2014 Metala,6 2007 Elizabeth's and a case of Crabtree 2015 clean skin Rieslings.
All $10 or less apart from the Lizzie.
All house favourites
Must see if I can find any of that Howard Park.
Cheers

Whilst it's a little expensive to be purely a quaffer, Rockford Moppa Springs is our go to, as well as Noon 12 Bells. Gomersal Grenache and GSM is a couple that I've been getting into a lot lately due to good pricing and quality.
