Very quiet (cheap) month for me too. I've been away from home all month until my return this morning, so I've not bought anything for the cellar. I'll have to rectify that in December! I did buy a few nice Californian wines while away though and drank them the same week. All Napa Valley (I think):
1 x Rosenblum Cellars Rockpile Zinfandel 2005 (lovely by the way)
1 x Ridge Geyserville Zinfandel 2004
1 x Ritchie Creek Estate Cab Sauv 2003

Couldn't go all month without putting something in the cellar:
4 x Voyager Cab Merlot 03
1 x Voyager Chardonnay 05
1 x Mills Reef Elspeth Shiraz 05
Incidentally, I see that JO in his 2008 guide says that the Voyager Cab Merlot he tasted under stelvin was actually better than the btl under cork. I'd have definately preferred screwcapped bottles, but l've only seen cork here. Anyone had both and noticed the difference JO alludes to?

Yes, I'm slowly working my way through the classic NZ syrahs (I wrongly called it shiraz in my post, whatever that is

), including stonecroft, elspeth, bullnose, passage rock and Le Sol. My palette memory isn't good enough yet to really compare them except head-to-head, but I was very taken by the stonecroft. Not had the craggy range or passage rock yet...

				6 x 05 Craggy Range Sophia
Tried this on release and thought it was ok but had a bottle the other day and it seems to have gained weight, very impressed more finesse than the 04 liked it allot.
Rushed out and picked up 6 for the longhaul, allthough it's drinking pretty well now.

				6x 05 Rockford basket press
12x whatever the current release vintage Rockford Alicante Bouchet is
We had our fourth child in late November, so most purchases are on hold at the moment.
Mind you, the en primeur Stonyridge Larose is being delivered in the next few weeks! That was paid for in March/April!

				A mixed case from Teusner:
‘Salsa’ Barossa Valley Rosé 2007 x 4
'Cellar Trial' Fleurieu Petit Verdot Barossa Mataro Shiraz 2005 x 4
'The Riebke' Ebenezer Rd Shiraz 2006 x 4
Looking forward to trying all three of these because the only Teusner wine I've tried is the Joshua 05. Unfortunately the Joshua 06 is "sold out" but at least I still have a few 05 left. The Albert Shiraz 04 which I wasn't interested in anyway is also "sold out".
After scoring 8 bottles of the Joshua 05 for $4.99 each, I gave 1 to a workmate who I know is partial to red wine. He loved it so much he ordered (none in stock) a couple of bottles from the local outlet of a national chain which was quoted to be about $26-27. He's stoked that it ended up costing $22.50 (which I think is quite reasonable), reckons it's the best wine he's ever tried. Can't help wondering what he'll think of the Kaesler Stonehorse 05 I gave him today for Christmas.
