I think Melbourne group need to arrange a weekend to the Swan Valley, Con. Really liked the cellar doors at Talijancich and there seem to be a few others offering Rare fortifieds.
Please let me know if this happens - if I am free I'd be happy to assist!

A few days in the Swan Valley sounds great, I’d love to catch up for few.
Cheers Con.

Probably need to get on the Balnaves train. Will have a look at the wines at the CD in a couple of weeks and go from there
Cheers Craig

Nice Roscoe.
I’m nearly set for Christmas. My wife got 4 bottles of Taittinger Brute Reserve for $30 each. Just need a couple bottles of Sparkling Shiraz. Planning a whole lamb on a spit.
Cheers Con.

Some marketing tricks still work on me. This time its a fancy (or unfancy) lable.
5* 2022 Dero, Phase Three
1* 2022 Marsanne, Phase Three
The Dero is the one that comes in a paper bag and is a Shiraz/Pinot Blend

A dozen 2021 Passing Clouds Maiden Valley Shiraz
Whilst I have had many PC wines from the 80/90/00, it been a while between drinks and this is a newly sourced wine from the old Balgownie vineyard, planted in the 1970s.
Cheers Craig

I know a number of the board have had bad experiences with Langtons, but I gave them a go last might. All to do with the post on the death of John Vickery. Never heard of him before, so picked up
1* 1998 Richmond Grove Watervale Riesling
2* 2002 Richmond Grove Watervale Riesling
Particularly interested in the 98, which was the instagator of the “move back to screw cap” movement.
